A Slow Start

When Mom and Dad told me what the Vet all did to Sarah, I was scared.  Sarah just wasn’t herself.  She laid around most of the time.  She was tired, and she seemed sad.  (It could have been the satellite dish that she had to wear.)  I was worried.  I stayed by her side day and night, just in case she needed me.  Sarah had to stay in the living room.  She couldn’t walk around freely.  Anytime she went anywhere, Mom or Dad had to take her on a leash.  She wasn’t allowed to run.  Can you imagine?!?  Not being allowed to run!  And then to make matters worse, we weren’t allowed to play!!!  We have this game we like to play.  I mount Sarah from behind, and then she mounts me.  It’s lots of fun.  But the first time we tried to play, Mom and Dad yelled at us.  They said we had to wait three months!  I’m not sure how long that is, but it seems long.  They explained that in order for Sarah to heal properly, we had to be real careful.  The picture with this blog pretty much shows what we were allowed to do.  Nothing!!!    But that’s OK, because whatever it took to get Sarah better, I was going to do it.  After all, she is my Alpha.  (And I am her Beta.)
